Overview

There has been a lot of polarization between the traditional project management community and the agile community over Agile and Waterfall. There is a perception that project managers and project management are associated with the Waterfall approach. As a result, some people believe that project management skills are not needed at all because the Waterfall approach is an out-of-date approach for many projects.

We need to see Agile and Waterfall in a fresh new perspective as complementary to each other rather than competitive and learn how to blend the two approaches together in the right proportions.
